At Jamil Shamji Law, we believe that an organization is only as strong as the community it operates in. We believe it is our moral duty to help others. We believe in diversity, and equal opportunity. We believe that as humans, we share a common responsibility to look out for one and other. Proud to be an official sponsor of the Guelph World Partnership Golf Tournament held at Cutten Fields on July 8, 2019.
The slogan of the tournament was to "Join us in taking a swing at global poverty!" and I'm excited to have been part of an initiative that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars towards that goal.
We were all humbled and saddened by the statistics of poverty and health in the developing world. Given that I am a new father of two, I was staggered by statistics of child mortality and post partum survival rates of new mothers provided to us.
I look forward to continuing to support this great cause, and doing our part to help those in need around the world.
See you in 2020 Guelph WPG!

There was over 206,200 estimated new cases of cancer in Canada in 2017. 80,800 of these cases will result in deaths - it's time to take a stand against this devastating disease. That's why I've decided to participate in Scotiabank Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer and help raise money to support The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in their mission to eradicate cancer and improve the lives of those living with cancer.
With the generous support and donations from my friends and family I intend on reaching my goal amount so I can truly help make a difference in the fight against cancer! It’s time to get off the bench and into the game, so please consider supporting my fundraising campaign a donation – any amount helps.
Our team "The Pirates of the Cure-ibbean III" will be participating in the Scotiabank Road Hockey To Conquer Cancer for the second year. Our goal is to raise $1000 for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
